Channels are assigned to zones from the channel editor. A/B Channel = the channel pre-selected on each VFO side when entering the zone (must be a zone member; empty = first/second member). Max 250 zones × 250 channels, names up to 16 characters. The No. is assigned automatically (1…N) — zones are renumbered on save, so unlike Channels / Radio IDs / Receive Groups they don't keep gaps.

Channels are assigned to scan lists from the channel editor. Priority channels must be list members; timing uses the CPS ranges (Look Back 0.5–5.0 s, Dropout/Dwell 0.1–5.0 s). Max 250 scan lists × 50 channels, names up to 16 characters. The No. is assigned automatically (1…N) — scan lists are renumbered on save and don't keep gaps.

Radio IDs are hidden on shared and public codeplugs to protect the owner's identity. When you download or write this codeplug, your own DMR ID and callsign are stamped into it instead.

The codeplug's contact list (TalkGroups.CSV). Channels reference these by contact name; Call Type and Call Alert round-trip into the codeplug. The No. is assigned automatically (1…N) — talk groups are renumbered on save (the radio compacts this list), so they don't keep gaps.

Receive Groups (CPS "Group Call List"): named sets of Group Call talk groups a channel can watch. Channels reference a group via their RX Group List field. Max 250 groups, 64 contacts each.

2-Tone Encode (CPS "2-Tone Encode"): paired tone frequencies for selective calling. Up to 24 entries; frequencies in Hz (0.1 Hz resolution), names up to 16 characters.

Edits round-trip into the downloaded .rdt, the serial write to the radio, and CSV export.

5-Tone Encode (CPS "5-Tone Encode"): per-tone signaling. Up to 100 entries; Encode ID is a hex-digit string, tone duration 30–100 ms, names up to 16 characters.

Edits round-trip into the downloaded .rdt, the serial write to the radio, and CSV export.

DTMF Encode (CPS "DTMF Encode"): up to 16 digit strings. Allowed characters: 0–9, A–D, * and #.

Code strings take digits 0–9 (up to 16) on this model — the radio stores one decimal digit per byte. An empty string clears the code. All fields land in the built .rdt and the serial write, except Transmitting Time, which the radio does not store (it rides in the .rdt for the CPS, exactly as the factory software behaves).
Slot Digits

FM broadcast presets (CPS "FM" list): slots 1–100 (sparse slot numbers allowed), frequency 60–108 MHz and a Scan setting (Add = active preset, Del = deleted slot the CPS keeps). The radio's FM-VFO records are preserved automatically.

Edits round-trip into the downloaded .rdt and the serial write to the radio.

Roaming channels (CPS "Roaming Channel"): the channels the radio roams between, each with a receive/transmit frequency, a Color Code (0–15, or "No Use") and a Slot (Slot1/Slot2/No Use). Roaming Zones group these channels by their list position; names up to 16 characters.

Edits round-trip into the downloaded .rdt.

Roaming zones (CPS "Roaming Zone"): each zone groups Roaming Channels. Add channels to a zone via Member Channels. A zone must keep at least one channel; names up to 16 characters.

GPS Roaming (CPS "GPS Roaming"): 32 fixed GPS-based auto Roaming-Zone slots. Each ties a Roaming Zone to a geographic circle — a centre (latitude/longitude in degrees + minutes, N/S and E/W) and a radius in metres — so the radio auto-selects that zone inside the circle. Set On/Off off (or the zone to "Unused") to disable a slot.

Fixed 32 slots (edit only); edits round-trip into the downloaded .rdt.

Pre-defined SMS (CPS "Pre-defined SMS"): canned text messages the radio can send. Up to 100 messages, each up to 200 characters; messages may span multiple lines.

Edits round-trip into the downloaded .rdt.

Auto Repeater Offset frequencies (CPS "Auto Repeater Offset Frequency"): the repeater-offset presets the radio auto-applies by band. Each is an offset in MHz.
